The harp offers a most appropriate instrumental atmosphere for memorial services. Contemplative without being mournful, the gentle, pure sounds of the instrument can provide a comforting ambiance in circumstances that could otherwise be marked by voids of silence.

From our own extensive personal experience, we well understand the important contribution that suitable music can make on such an occasion. A memorial service can be stressful for close family and friends, and we are extremely sensitive to the needs of all involved. We invariably find it spiritually rewarding to be a part of the memorial, as we observe the positive effect of harp music on those present.

We can provide a variety of music suited to the occasion, offering a quiet welcome which helps to set a comforting mood as family and friends gather to remember and honor the deceased. If desired, the harp can provide a musical contribution at selected points during the service, and a fitting piece can be chosen to accompany the attendees' leaving at the end of the service.

We are often asked to play a piece of music that was a particular favorite of the deceased during the memorial. Of course, we accommodate such requests whenever feasible.
